Meet Our Professional Staff

 

Rhonda K. Kotarinos, PT, MS

Mrs. Kotarinos received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1974. She began her professional career as a staff physical therapist in a hospital acute care physical therapy department. Her clinical experience grew to include responsibilities in hospital administration, eventually becoming the director of a physical therapy department. In 1980, she went into private practice where she remains today. In 1989, Rhonda completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served the American Physical Therapy Association as President of the Section on Women’s Health for 7 years. This experience heightened her interest in pelvic floor dysfunction, where she currently concentrates her clinical, educational and research responsibilities. Rhonda lectures and publishes internationally, and is an active member of the American Urogynecologic Society, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The International Association for the Study of Pain, The American Pain Society, International Myopain Society, International Continence Society and the International Pelvic Pain Society. Rhonda is also a member of her professional association, the American Physical Therapy Association.

Maureen K. Blanchfield O'Keefe, DPT

Maureen O’Keefe earned her Masters of Physical Therapy at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1997 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy, also from Temple University, in 2003.  Upon graduation in 1997, Maureen was awarded the Exceptional Student Award in recognition of outstanding achievement during the 3 year graduate physical therapy curriculum.  At Loyola University Chicago she studied biology as her major and chemistry minor, earning her Bachelors of Science degree in 1993.

Elizabeth A. Kotarinos, PT, DPT

Elizabeth is a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern California where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Elizabeth has already begun the specialization process attending the annual society meetings of many physician based professional associations including the American Urogynecologic Society, International Myopain Society, International Continence Society and the International Pelvic Pain Society. Elizabeth is also a member of her professional association, the American Physical Therapy Association.
